ABB has been awarded $77m for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical products and systems for the new Terminal 3 building at
ABB will provide electrical infrastructure and control systems for T3, which is currently under construction. ABB’s supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system, an intelligent power distribution management solution, will be used to monitor and control the terminal’s entire electrical network.
ABB’s order includes 11kV panels, a distribution transformer, low-voltage panels, cabling, wiring, conduits, light fixtures, bus ducts and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), for auxiliary power if primary power is lost.
