The latest high-performance filter technology from the Hydraulic Filtration Division of Parker Hannifin, the world’s largest manufacturer of motion and control technology, is being used on board the Amara Zee sailing ship to ensure cleaner systems, increased filtration efficiency and unparalleled engine protection.
The 500 series turbine filters are fitted to the engine on the Amara Zee to clean fuel and remove any water, while filtering out a minimum of 25 per cent of sediment, algae, rust and other contaminants.
