Trueform invests in Hayes

Transport and infrastructure engineering company Trueform has completed a £1.6 million investment programme at its Hayes factory, increasing its production and design capabilities.
The group has invested in new CAD-enabled design facilities and installed the first of two new 3D flying optic laser steel cutting and forming machines.

The new design and manufacturing facilities are being used to make Trueform’s range of intelligent transport systems, real-time journey planning displays, CCTV and solar-lit transit stops, shelters and interactive customer kiosks.
Trueform says its investment will allow it to increase production of key components by as much as 70% and extend its bespoke design and build capabilities by seamlessly linking CAD software through to manufacturing facilities.
