Victaulic, world leaders in piping system joining solutions, announced today the opening of a new warehouse in Stevenage. The 2,571m2 warehouse is part of the company’s long-term commitment to increase service levels and delivery times in the UK and throughout Ireland.

The warehouse will ensure that the company’s wide range of non-weld grooved end piping solutions for the fire protection, plumbing and heating and air conditioning sectors can be provided within 48 hours of ordering. In addition, the increase of deliveries to Ireland from weekly to daily will ensure maximum service support for this growing market.

“The opening is consistent with our focus on localised support,” says Fred Matyiku, country manager for the UK and Ireland. “Ensuring we have a substantial warehouse facility in close proximity to our customers is key. The 2,571 square metre facility will maximise our success in growing our UK and Ireland business by reducing delivery times and ensuring we can offer customers the type of support they need in this ever demanding construction climate.”
