VIPA Touch Screen HMI’s

Complementing its wide range of PLC and PC based automation solutions, VIPA have launched a new family of touch screen HMI’s for factory, process and building automation applications. The new TouchPanel family comprises six models with a choice of monochrome or colour displays in industry standard panel sizes of 5.7”, 6.4” and 8.4”. With Microsoft® Windows CE 5.0 operating system and MoviconX© CE Runtime visualisation software and a wide selection of field-bus interface options, USB and serial communications ports, the TouchPanel range offers maximum flexibility and future-proof stability.

Based on Intel Xscale® Technology developed for high performance processing for wireless and networking systems such as PDA’s and GPS systems, the TouchPanel range features open architecture XML to maximise integration with external systems. By allowing the choice of MoviconX or zenOn 6.20, the user can decide between the most suitable application requirements and leverage its own software development skills and resources to the full. Both systems offer a vast range of features for SCADA based applications.
