Warthog contract

Singapore Technologies Kinetics today announced a contract with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the supply of Bronco All Terrain Tracked Carriers.

Singapore Technologies Kinetics (ST Kinetics) today announced a contract with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the supply of Bronco All Terrain Tracked Carriers (ATTC).

The contract, worth approximately £150m, will see the land systems division of Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) supply the vehicles in response to an urgent operation requirement (UOR).

Delivery will commence in the third quarter of 2009.

The vehicles, dubbed ‘Warthog’ by the MoD, are extensively armoured and can be operated in a wide range of climate conditions.

Four Warthog variants will be built under the contract: troop carrier, ambulance, command and repair and recovery.
