Welcome to The Engineer's Work in Defence week
This week sees The Engineer teaming up with some of the leading employers in defence to highlight employment opportunities and find out what it’s like to work in the sector.
UK defence faces an urgent need for fresh engineering skills across a range of disciplines. Throughout Work in Defence Week (30th Sep – 4th October) we will be exploring in detail the trends and projects at the heart of this push and - through a series of webinars- joining forces with some of the biggest names in the sector to find out more about the opportunities on offer.
During the week we will be hearing directly from BAE Systems and Raytheon UK about the opportunities available within their businesses and - in a special panel session featuring ADS Group, Cranfield University, Raytheon UK and BAE Systems - exploring the opportunities in defence for engineers currently working in other sectors.
