Z Corporation Named to Inc. 5000 List of Fastest-Growing Companies for Second Straight Year
BURLINGTON, MA, September, 2009 – Inc. magazine has named Z Corporation to its annual ranking of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States for the second straight year. The list is the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the U.S. economy – independent-minded entrepreneurs. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy.
Z Corporation makes the world’s fastest 3D printers and the only ones that print in multiple colours. 3D printers create tangible physical objects from 3D data much as document printers create business letters from word-processing files. Z Corporation’s portable 3D scanners capture 3D data for product design, printing, inspection, preservation and other uses.
In the past 12 months, Z Corporation released:
• the ZPrinter® 650 colour 3D printer for the most demanding applications;
• two new 3D scanners, the ZScanner® 700 PX for scanning very large objects like aircraft and automobiles, and the ZScanner 700 CX for capturing the “whole picture” of an object, including colour and texture; and
• the zp®150 premium composite build material for tougher 3D printed parts, rich colours and whiter whites.
