As a regular visitor to Holland I am amazed at their ever increasing use of wind power.
In this country we have 10 times more wind than Holland — but it is going to waste because we let a few protesters stop any development of renewable energy that would bring clean fuel to all.
In the Pennine Hills around Buxton we have forests which these same protesters would probably like felled to give us the featureless desert that is Pennine moorland.
Let’s have more forests with the wind turbines hidden among them.
