The composition of liquid cleaning agents and disinfectants can be monitored during production and in the final product by determining the density, given that the liquid under investigation is a binary mixture. If the liquid contains only very small amounts of additives, it can still be considered a binary mixture with sufficient accuracy.
Some producers sell these cleaning agents and disinfectants by volume, others by weight. This makes the correct conversion of weight to volume an important step and will be explained in detail in this application report.
