FLIR Systems reports growing demand, from the power utility sector, for its FLIR GF306 optical gas imaging camera as they seek compliance with EU legislation** on Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6) emissions ahead of the 2019 deadline.

SF6 is used in the electric power industry as an insulator and quenching medium for gas-insulated substations and circuit breakers.
