Tell us about a little bit about Renishaw.

Renishaw is a world leader in the design and manufacture of precision measurement, manufacturing technologies and healthcare products. It is a global business, with a presence in 36 countries and over 5,000 employees worldwide. The company is headquartered in Gloucestershire, UK, where the majority of our research and development (R&D) and manufacturing operations are based. We also have manufacturing facilities in India and Ireland.

Our operations are focused on two primary segments: manufacturing technologies and analytical instruments and medical devices. We collaborate closely with customers across these segments to address complex engineering and scientific challenges, advancing the performance of products and processes. We are committed to research and innovation, investing between 13 and 18 per cent of annual sales into R&D. This focus has allowed us to pioneer technologies that touch billions of lives and push the boundaries of what is possible.
