Exide knows ‘Every Little Helps’ when it comes to Tesco

Exide Technologies (CMP Batteries Ltd) recently received a ‘Values Award’ from Tesco for their assistance in helping keep operations running as smoothly as possible over the very busy Christmas period. This was achieved by carrying out surveys in an effort to identify any potential problems in advance to make sure everything continued to run at an optimum level. The surveys were conducted throughout Tesco’s National Distribution Centres.

James Fenton, UK Maintenance Manager for Tesco commented, “Exide Technologies really helped us through the traditionally busy run up to Christmas by ensuring the batteries, chargers and battery transfer equipment continued to run smoothly. This enabled us to achieve maximum uptime from our fleet.” James stated on the award ‘No one tries harder for customers’.

Vic Sayer, Exide’s UK National Account Manager was delighted to receive this award and commented how encouraging it was to be recognised by a customer for our efforts.
