Memosens and Liquiline for liquid analysis

A refreshing approach to maintenance requirements

For liquid analysis technology that is untroubled by moisture ingress and can be easily cleaned, regenerated and calibrated, Endress+Hauser offers the ideal solution with the Memosens digital sensor in conjunction with the Liquiline M transmitter for reliable pH, conductivity and DO measurement.

Using revolutionary digital technology, Memosens allows important process data to be saved directly in the sensor, guaranteeing interference-free measuring signals and simplification of process measuring technology. And, via its inductive plug-in connection and bayonet lock, Memosens eliminates the problems of moisture ingress, leakages and corrosion offering complete galvanic isolation.

Not to be outdone, Liquiline is available as either a digital or analogue transmitter and it’s designed for all standard bus systems such as HART, PROFIBUS or FOUNDATION Fieldbus to cover any eventuality. When used in combination with Memosens technology, sensor specific data is automatically transmitted between sensor and transmitter. What’s more, critical data (e.g. calibration data, sensor limits) is stored in the transmitter allowing simple commissioning and maintenance with pre-calibrated sensors.

A whole new outlook

Memosens and Liquiline provide the basis for a whole new maintenance strategy. Memosens sensors can be pre-calibrated under optimum conditions in the laboratory and then simply replaced in the measuring point - eliminating the problems associated with difficult-to-access measuring points! The sensors identify themselves within the application - each measuring point recognises its individual sensor, providing a significant reduction in downtime. Sensors that once had to be thrown away can now be checked and regenerated, e.g. by cleaning in the laboratory. Sensor lifetime is considerably increased – saving you time and money!
