NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, has exercised an option to continue a contract with Science Applications International (SAIC), San Diego, to provide information technology services to NASA.
The $205.9m option extends the Unified NASA Information Technology Services (UNITeS) contract that was awarded to SAIC three years ago. It is the second of two options to be taken up and continues work to the end of 2008.
Under the contract, SAIC and its subcontractors will provide a range of services in support of the entire agency, including the Integrated Enterprise Management Program, wide area network, IT security and digital television.
The UNITeS contract with options has total value of $956m.
