Oil and gas contracts

Aker Kvaerner has won contracts to design and supply oil and gas treatment packages worth around $28m.

Aker Kvaerner has signed three new contracts for the design and supply of oil and gas treatment packages around the world with a total value of around $28m.
 
For Hyundai Heavy Industries, the company will design and supply an inconel gas/glycol dehydration unit for the Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company 's Umm Shaif offshore field in the Emirates.
 
Secondly, it will deliver crude desalting facilities to the independent European oil producer Maurel & Prom for that company's new crude production site in Gabon by mid 2008.
 
Lastly, it will deliver two new glycol regeneration systems to the BG Group, the largest producer of gas in Tunisia, for that company's offshore Gulf of Gabes Miskar platform.

The contracts will be undertaken by the Aker Kvaerner subsidiary, Aker Kvaerner Process Systems in France, a supplier of gas dehydration systems, and the units involved will be fabricated is Korea, Morocco and France.
