The Carillion and Igloo Regeneration Fund joint venture has been chosen for the development of the International Broadcast Centre and Main Press Centre (IBC/MPC) for the London 2012 Olympics.
The estimated construction cost for the new centre is £300m. Broadcasters, journalists and photographers will be based at the site, which will also have a multi-storey car park.
The centre will be located in the northwest corner of the Olympic Park in east London.
Work is scheduled to begin in March 2009 and finish in March 2012.
