Hayward Tyler has secured a multi-million pound contract to supply 12 380kW Glandless Boiler Water Circulation Pumps (BCWP) to Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) of
The Luton-based company, which manufactures pumps and motors for the power, oil and gas industries, will deliver the pumps in 2010 for operation within the high-pressure part of the boiler system.
Of the 12 BCPs, six will be installed at a power station in Koderma and the remaining six will be installed at a power station in
Vic Erdilek, Hayward Tyler power market development manager, said: ‘This contract award represents a great team achievement, giving Hayward Tyler an opportunity to strengthen its presence in the Indian market.
‘A key selection factor for BHEL was the high energy-efficiency levels achieved by our Glandless Motor Pumps when benchmarked against our competitors.’
