Ron Wilson takes the helm at Exide

Ron Wilson is already a well known face within the materials handling market. Ron has worked for CMP Batteries for 14 years – firstly as a Divisional Manager covering the South of England and then as the National Aftermarket Sales Manager. He has now been appointed as National Field Sales Manager, overseeing the activity of the UK Key Account Sales Team.
Ron comments “I can’t recall a more exciting time for the industry and Exide are ideally placed to meet the challenges ahead. One of the main issues that can’t be ignored is global warming. At Exide, we have developed a grading system for our core products based on energy and recyclability. The grading system forms part of our whole life cost and carbon footprint calculator. This means our sales team can demonstrate to customers not only how to reduce their carbon footprint but also how to save money over the life of the application. We are the only battery and charger manufacturer able to do this.”
