Bluestar Secutech, an AIM-listed provider of digital video surveillance, has secured a contract with the China Construction Bank to provide surveillance to its branches in Inner Mongolia.

Bluestar Secutech, an AIM-listed provider of digital video surveillance, has secured a contract with the China Construction Bank (CCB) to provide surveillance to its branches in Inner Mongolia.

The £1.4m contract is expected to be complete by the end of October and will provide networked surveillance services to around 500 CCB sites in Inner Mongolia. According to CCB, the work will be the first networking project for its branches in the Inner Mongolia region.

Xiao Gang, chief executive of Bluestar, said: ‘We are proud that Bluestar was again chosen to provide surveillance solutions to CCB Bank. Adding to our strong market presence in China and established reputation for quality and reliability, the leading-edge features of our network video-surveillance solutions are helping us significantly expand our ongoing growth by winning large enterprise-level security projects in the regions.’

The contract follows a £500,000 deal for the company earlier this month to provide digital video recorders at 134 Pudong Development Bank branches in Shanghai. The work is scheduled for completion at the end of August.
