Survey to assess technology expectations

Cambridge Consultants has launched a survey aimed at finding out peoples’ true attitudes towards past, present and future technological development.

As part of the company’s 50th anniversary, the company is aiming to discover what technologies people expect to have a significant impact on their lives in the next 50 years.

’The past 50 years have witnessed technological change at a pace faster than any other in human history. This pace of change is likely to continue to accelerate and our study on the public’s expectations for the next 50 years should provide some interesting insights,’ said Brian Moon, chief executive officer of Cambridge Consultants.

Cambridge Consultants will be asking people to submit their thoughts on the future of technology via an online questionnaire.

For the first 4,000 completed questionnaires, Cambridge Consultants will be donating £1 to Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that provides practical, medical and financial support to lives affected by cancer.

The results of the survey will be announced in the summer of 2010. The survey can be found here
