Trelleborg Industrial AVS is supplying Windflow Technology of Christchurch, New Zealand, with Spherilastik bearings for its Windflow 500 wind turbines, which are designed and manufactured in New Zealand. The bearings will form part of the pitch-teeter coupling mechanism in the hub of the turbine. The bearings act as a resilient spherical joint to allow the
mechanism to pivot, providing articulation while also keeping noise and vibration to a minimum.
