Dimension has just added a fifth model to the world’s most successful range of 3D printers. The new model, named the Dimension Elite, has been developed to produce stronger parts with finer feature detail.  Until now if you wanted a 3D Printer to produce small components, such as electrical connectors or mobile phones, you had to compromise. You could have a weak part with good detail or a stronger part without the required detail.

The Dimension Elite has addressed this problem using a smaller slice interval to produce fine detail and a new material to increase the strength of small features.  Dimensions’ success has been built on the functionality of the parts but the Elite, through the combination of new material and reduced slice interval greatly increases the strength of small features, such as snap fit lugs and locating pins, dramatically increasing the scope for functional testing.
