Amphenol Industrial Operations has launched Amphe-EX, a new miniature explosion-proof connector series specifically designed to allow signals to pass through Zone-rated areas, using coax and fibre optic cables as well as standard copper. Ideal for applications such as oil and gas exploration, petrochem and chemical plants or power generation, these rugged new connectors are an important addition to the Amphenol range and complementary to the existing Starline EX series.
