Brevini has solved the costly problem of replacing obsolete drives at Scottish Water’s sewage treatment works in Glendevon. The cost of repairing or replacing the drives would be extremely high and require lengthy downtime and a repair job would be inefficient. Working closely with Brammer, Brevini supplied a no-engineering solution, which would fit on the existing structure and provide the plant with high-energy efficiency. Brevini’s solution allowed the gearboxes to be replaced without having to re-engineer the mounting bracket.
