Buying doors

Assa Abloy, the Swedish manufacturer and supplier of doors, has acquired Lisburn County Antrim-based Powershield Doors.
Powershield Doors designs, manufactures and installs customised fire resistant, personnel access and high security steel doors.
Earlier this year, the company won an order for over £500,000 for doors on the prestigious T5 project at Heathrow airport in London.
Powershield personnel and fire doors and frames are being installed by sub-contractor Swift Horsman in both Terminal 5a and the Train & Tunnel System.
Next year, the company is expected to reach a turnover of £10m.
