Central Electric to salvage critical motors at Mythe water treatment plant

ABB Motor Service Partner, Central Electric of Knowsley were called upon by Severn Trent to salvage the critical motors which power the filler pumps at the Mythe water treatment plant in Tewkesbury following the floods in July. All the motors were removed, repaired and returned within 48 hours, helping to restore water to the 300,000 people affected after just one week. A police motorbike escort accompanied the repaired electric motors to the Mythe plant.
