With the increasing demand for higher current values in LED applications, SeMitec have now extended their CRD range of current-regulating diodes upto 18mA.  The new E-183 CRD delivers a constant current of 18mA over the range 6V to 25V.

 

SeMitec’s CRDs can replace several components in a conventional constant current network, thus allowing you to design multiple input voltage circuits and reduce your component count in space-critical applications.

 

Now offering current values from 0.01mA upto 18mA, Semitec’s CRDs offers protection, stability and improved performance to circuits driving LEDs, generating waveforms and biasing amplifiers.  They can also be used as an excellent voltage reference in conjunction with a standard zener diode.
