When space is limited Semitec’s small CRDs can replace multiple components count in space-critical applications, easing assembly, whilst assuring protection, stability, and higher current ratings.
The current S-series CRD offers constant current values from 0.1ma up to 18mA. The latest addition to our range, is the S223T a 22mA CRD for use in high luminance LEDs, once again allowing just 1 single unit to be used for current stabilisation.
Despite their size, the CRDs offer protection, stability and improved performance when driving LED circuits, waveforms generators and biasing amplifiers. They can also be used as an excellent voltage reference in conjunction with a zener diode.
The CRDs can be supplied as a diode (E series) or within a SMD package (S series) or to your own specification.
By using them in series or parallel, both higher voltages and higher current ratings can be achieved. Also this can be dual voltages
