From Danaher Motion comes the DDS Direct Drive Steering System, an IP67 rated intelligent electric system designed to replace hydraulic steering systems. It reduces complexity and provides significant advantages to vehicle designers and manufacturers including increased uptime, quieter operation, reduced maintenance and less energy use within a lower overall cost of ownership. The DDS linear actuator provides maximum stroke to 160mm at up to 75mm/s at nominal force, with maximum force to 14kN.
