Endress+Hauser supports Mozambique water project to celebrate production of the millionth Promag flowmeter
Endress+Hauser Flowtec AG in Reinach, Switzerland, is one of the world's biggest providers of modern industrial flowmeters for liquid, gas and steam. In May this year, the number of magmeters sold passed the million mark!
From as long ago as the 1960s, Endress+Hauser has been active in flow measurement. However, the real breakthrough came in the mid 1970s when Endress+Hauser geared its business strategy towards environmental technology, entering the water & wastewater market.
Water of life

Today, there are more than a billion people in the world, who still have no access to clean drinking water. The Swiss development organisation Helvetas describes the fair distribution of ever-dwindling water reserves without endangering the Earth's ecological balance as “one of the biggest challenges facing the 21st century”.
