Flender supplies gear units to Byard

Power transmission specialist Flender has supplied gear units, Siemens motors and Zapex couplings for a steel pipe welding machine destined for Australia. The Glasgow based manufacturer, Byard, a spiral Pipe mill specialist, recently specified Flender’s heavy duty FZG gear units for the first time. Byard has made 55 of these huge machines in its 35 year history, installed around the world for steel pipe manufacture as well as for structural piling pipe. Flender Units were selected for their “performance, quality, reliability and value”
