Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the new S10140 series

Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the new S10140 series of back-thinned CCD image sensors, which have been specifically developed for low-light level measurement. These new devices are available with either 1024 or 2048 element lengths and a choice of 122, 250 or 506 element heights. The devices feature a superb spectral response range from 190nm to 1100nm, with quantum efficiency greater than 90 per cent at its peak.
