Harwin, a high reliability connector maker releases the F08 0.8mm SMT connectors for Flexible Printed Circuits. Also suitable for flat conductor planar cables, the F08 connectors are zero insertion force devices, simplifying assembly and minimising the risk of damage. F08 connectors have a UL94V-0 rated and high temperature thermoplastic housing. The application base for this technology is expanding out from established areas such as consumer AV to digital equipment of all types, where reduced weight and flexible circuit interconnection provides benefits
