The line-up is complete for The Engineer's Collaborate to Innovate conference: an event that promises to shed light on the disruptive technologies that will shape industry in the years ahead, and educate delegates about the challenges and rewards of effective engineering collaboration.
Keynote speakers at this special event include: Airbus R&T chief Mark Howard – who will be talking about innovation in the aerospace sector; legendary Formula One engineer Prof Gordon Murray – who will discuss the transfer of skills and technology from motorsport to the wider industry; leading 3D printing expert and VP of consulting at Stratasys Dr Phil Reeves and Dick Elsy, Chief Executive of the High Value Manufacturing catapult. We’re also delighted to announce the addition to the program of BAE systems’ Henry White. As technical lead for UK sport, White will highlight the role that engineers are playing in the UK’s sporting success.
Alongside these talks, delegates will also hear from the winners of The Engineer’s inaugural Collaborate To Innovate awards.
Chosen by a judging panel made up of some of the UK’s most senior and respected engineers these winning entries beat off stiff competition to demonstrate excellence in engineering collaboration and innovation.
Winners presenting at the conference include the team behind the UK’s new Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier; the Rolls Royce engineers behind the latest advanced in jet engine technology; and the team behind SPECIFIC – a world leading smart building demonstrator.
