Help for companies offering aprenticeships came out top of the Budget wish-list for the 494 respondents to last week’s poll, with 36 per cent of respondents picking this option. Tax relef for R&D and IP was the choice of 27 per cent, while 19 per cent wanted more infrastructure investment for Northetn England and Scotland. Both incentives for fracking and North Sea oil exploration attracted the support of 4 per cent, while 10 per cent declined to pick an option.
