New approach to masking estimated to save £45m in production costs

In this week’s video, Sam Ashworth from BAE Systems explains how advanced new masking tape will help save the defence company around £45m in production costs over the next 20 years.

In the clip, Ashworth reveals how the solution addresses a common problem of adhesive residue being left on aircraft parts when traditional heavy aluminium tape is peeled away, which can be time-consuming, damaging and costly to remove.
