Shortlist announced for The Engineer’s 2022 Collaborate to Innovate Awards
We’re delighted to reveal the shortlist for The Engineer’s 2022 Collaborate To Innovate (C2I) Awards
From ground-breaking developments in clean energy and electric mobility to key advances in potentially life-saving healthcare technology, the shortlist for The Engineer’s seventh annual C2I Awards is an inspiring reminder of both the UK’s depth of engineering talent and the role that engineers are playing in addressing some of the biggest challenges we face.
Spanning eight categories – including energy & environment, aerospace & defence, automotive, manufacturing, data, and healthcare technology – the full list of shortlisted entries for this year’s competition can be viewed here.
The ultimate winners will be revealed at a special party in London on the evening of 23rd February and covered extensively in The Engineer magazine.
Now in its seventh year, Collaborate to Innovate (C2I) was launched to uncover and celebrate great examples of engineering collaboration – a dynamic considered critical to solving many of the challenges and problems faced by society.
Commenting on this year’s finalists, Dr Rich Drake, CTO of headline sponsor Babcock said: “I’ve been really inspired by the entries to this year’s competition and we know it’s not enough to just have the latest bit of technology, we need people that understand the increasingly complex data world we are in; people who are passionate about making a difference to the world we live in and we need more innovators. Events like this are what it’s all about. It will be a challenge deciding the next stage with some great entries to choose from.”
