Sikorsky adopts Goodrich rescue hoist

Sikorsky Aircraft has selected Goodrich to provide rescue hoist systems for the H-92 Canadian Maritime Helicopter Project.
The Canadian government will use the H-92 maritime helicopters for surveillance, search and rescue, the monitoring of enemy submarines, and the transportation of cargo and personnel.

Goodrich uses categories to distinguish the two rescue hoist technologies that it offers. Category One refers to its translating drum cable management system, while Category Two is its level-wind technology.
