SOXAL signs with Chartered
SOXAL, a joint venture between BOC and Air Liquide, recently signed a bulk gas contract with Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing for the supply of nitrogen to Chartered's 300mm facility.

(SOXAL), a joint venture between BOC and Air Liquide, recently signed a bulk gas contract with
, one of the world's top semiconductor foundries, for the supply of nitrogen to Chartered's 300mm facility, Fab 7.
Under the agreement, SOXAL will construct the on-site bulk gas tank farm, as well as install the piping network, specialised gas equipment such as gas cabinet, gas detection, valve manifold systems and SOXAL’s Fabvision monitoring system for the supply of ultra high purity bulk gases and Electronic Specialty Gases.
The expansion of the tank farm is scheduled to be complete by June 2006.
SOXAL currently supplies ultra-pure carrier gases such as nitrogen, hydrogen, argon, oxygen and helium to Chartered’s other facilities.
