Spirax Sarco’s extensive site and laboratory testing has shown that SPIRA-TROL valves enjoy up to 30 per cent longer stem seal life than most other valves.
Hard trip materials and a design that diffuses the discharge from the plug and seat and reduces internal flow velocities to minimise internal erosion further extends valve life. These features help to substantially reduce the frequency of plant shutdowns needed for valve maintenance.
