Superfine contract

Ceyhan Madeni Vag Ve Ticaret, a subsidiary of Innova Teknoloji, has placed an order for Hydrodec Group’s Superfine transformer oil for distribution in Turkey.

Under the ongoing agreement, valued between $2.4m and $3.6m, Hydrodec will supply a minimum of 2.4 million litres of oil to Ceyhan during the first year. Hydrodec will also supply equipment to filter and dry the oil on arrival in Turkey, and test the oil for moisture content prior to delivery to final customers, who will be mainly transformer manufacturers.

In addition, Ceyhan will collect the oil directly from Hydrodec’s Australian site.

‘The off take of Australian production capacity by export customers will give Hydrodec 100 per cent capacity in our Young, New South Wales plant in 2008, earlier than expected,’ said John Gunn, chairman of Hydrodec.
