Theolia take-over

Theolia has acquired EDF’s 84.5 per cent share in Compagnie Eolienne du Detroit (CED), which owns the biggest wind farm in Morocco.
The wind farm, based in Tetouan, comprises 84 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 50.4MW and an output of 190GWh per year.
A team of 10 people, who have managed the wind farm since it was commissioned in 2000, will continue their work at the site when Theolia’s acquisition takes place.
The effective date of the contract remains subject to conditions.
