Siemens’ Industrial Solutions and Services Group (I&S) has received an order from Geothermie Unterhaching to build a turnkey 3.36 MW geothermal power station in Unterhaching near
The project includes the turbo-set, a heat-exchanger circuit, the cooling system, the entire electrical power equipment and the instrumentation and control system.
Siemens is also responsible for constructing the administration building and the machine building and will provide maintenance for the power station for the first ten years of operation.
The total value of the contract amounts to around 16 million Euros. Commercial operation of the facility is scheduled to start mid 2007.
