Market leading surface preparation expert, Wheelabrator Group has supplied pioneering technology to a major drill bit manufacturer in Northern Ireland, to facilitate its new specialist in-house process. The customer was looking to create a new drill bit made from tungsten, fitted with diamond tips. Due to its suitability in cleaning large, heavy and awkward to handle components, a table type wheel blast machine was the ideal solution. The new blasting technique removes excess graphite following the moulding process.
