According to Northampton, IMechE inspectors praised a number of aspects of the university’s engineering programme, including its relevance to industry; the staff; the exam support offered to students; and the combination of theory, practice and computation.
Engineering students play a key role in Northampton’s Formula Student programme, started in 2014. This year’s event is due to take place at Silverstone from 14-17 July.
