for $57 million in cash. An additional payment of up to $25 million will be paid if the Oasis business hits certain revenue milestones in 2006.

Oasis Semiconductor, based in Waltham, MA, with an office in Yokohama, was named the Second Fastest-Growing Technology Company in the Deloitte 'New England Technology Fast 50' in 2004.

Its products provide the core system control for printers, photo-printers, copiers, scanner and fax machines. Currently, they can be found in products from Canon, Sagem and Sharp.
