Tube Lines has renewed its contract with Alstom Transport for the maintenance of London Underground’s Jubilee Line fleet. The deal is worth €117m to Alstom.
Alstom Transport has handled the maintenance of the Jubilee Line fleet for the past 11 years. Under the terms of the renewed contract, Alstom will continue to maintain the fleet for a further 10 years.
The Jubilee Line fleet is made up of 63 trains manufactured by Alstom. The line has seen traffic frequency increase significantly in recent years, due in part to the development of business districts in east
