RHI bought for £25m

AMEC has acquired Rider Hunt International, an international provider of project services to the oil, gas, chemical, energy and process industries, for £25m in cash.

(RHI) from its owner managers for £25m in cash.

Based in Godalming, Surrey, RHI provides project services to the oil, gas, chemical, energy and process industries around the world.

The company is staffed by some 240 professionals working in 15 countries and has locations in mature markets and frontier regions, including Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

‘Acquiring RHI is an important step in our strategy of providing best in class consultancy services in programme and project management in the energy industries,’ said Neil Bruce, chief operating officer of AMEC's Natural Resources division. ‘RHI has some of the very best people and proprietary systems in the business and provides an excellent geographic fit with AMEC's footprint in mature and frontier regions.’
