Power verification
first product - MVSIM – is claimed to be the world’s first Electronic Design Automation solution to verify power managed designs.
Until now, multi-voltage chip designers had to settle for verification of power management schemes after silicon had been created. But there were problems. Bugs were often found in power management schemes after the silicon was spun causing time and cost-consuming revisions to silicon, system and software.
Now, the MVSIM product enables users to simulate the effects of any voltage variation at the RTL level itself, thus verifying their multi-voltage functionality, connectivity and sequencing prior to building a device.
Available now worldwide, the MVSIM software product works with mainstream simulators like ModelSim from Mentor Graphics, NC-Sim from Cadence Design Systems and VCS from Synopsys.
